Short version: there are no accounts, most of what you do stays in your own browser, and we hold as little as we can get away with.

What stays on your device

Your saved cooks, the dishes you add yourself, a cook in progress, and your kitchen settings all live in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and we cannot get them back for you.

Who else sees it

Stripe handles payment and holds your email and card details. We never see your card number.
Anthropic receives the text of dishes and recipes you ask us to work out, so Claude can turn them into a timeline. Do not paste anything private into those boxes.
Resend sends sign-in links and delivers your gap reports to us.
PostHog records the anonymous usage events above.
Vercel hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs.

We do not sell anything to anyone, and there is no advertising on this site.

Cookies

One, and only once you have subscribed: a signed session cookie so you stay signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you have not been asked to dismiss a banner.

Your choices

Delete your local data — clear this site's data in your browser.
Delete your account — cancel your subscription and email us; we will ask Stripe to delete your customer record.
Ask what we hold — email us and we will tell you, and send you a copy.

If you are in the UK or EU, the lawful basis is performance of a contract for your subscription, and legitimate interests for the anonymous usage counts.

Children

This is not intended for under-13s and we do not knowingly collect their information.
