While It's Hot.

Terms

Last updated 31 October 2026 · Iron Ridge & Co LLC

By using While It's Hot you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable.

About the cooking advice Every time and temperature here is guidance, not a guarantee. Ovens differ, cuts differ, and a thermometer is the only thing that actually tells you food is cooked. You are responsible for cooking your food safely — particularly poultry, pork, ground meat and anything served to someone vulnerable. Follow your local food-safety guidance over anything this app says.

What you get

A subscription unlocks every timeline, as many dishes as you like, saved cooks, second-cook mode, and recipe import. Two dinners are free before that, so you can see whether it suits you.

Paying

Refunds

If it is not for you, email us within 30 days of paying and we will refund you in full. No form, no argument. After 30 days, cancel and you will not be charged again.

Recipe import

You can paste a link or the text of a recipe and we will turn it into a timeline for your own use. Recipes you import belong to whoever wrote them; we do not store or republish them. Only import things you are entitled to use.

Fair use

Do not try to break the service, get round the paywall, or run automated requests against it. Reading recipes costs us real money per request, so there are rate limits; persistent abuse means we close the account and refund whatever is unused.

No warranty, and the limit of what we owe

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or always be right. To the extent the law allows, Iron Ridge & Co LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where the law does not allow that.

Ending it

You can stop any time. We can close an account that breaches these terms, and will refund the unused part unless the breach was deliberate.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA.
